The saga of SRJK (Tamil) Sungai Salak in Lukut is well known within the circles of Tamil schools, a long story which many had tried to resolve.
This school with a 120 students ended up being housed in a 2-storey shop-lot for 3 years, with rental being funded entirely by the parents. The PTA approached myNADI to resolve this long-standing problem which appeared to have no end in sight.
As an immediate measure, myNADI undertook to relief the burden of the parents by agreeing to pay the monthly rental of the shop-lot while we worked to resolve the problem.
Having painstakingly collected all relevant correspondences between the school and relevant authorities, myNADI approached the Ministry of Education with all evidence why this school should be given a proper building.
To our delight, a grant of RM2.83 million was granted by the Ministry to build a new fully-government aided school, which will be ready by 2011.
