Reaching Out To The Community
The under-privileged in all communities face numerous social and welfare issues which stem from a complex confluence of various factors which include displacement from their traditional environment, lack of education, lack of social skills and at times, lack of capital to start a business.

In addition, one of the most effective ways of reaching out to the community and listening directly to their issues was for these local organizations to organize meet-the-people sessions, which were small gatherings of between forty to fifty local residents, giving them ample opportunities to voice their concerns and grievances about various local and national issues.
In places such as Hulu Selangor and Batang Berjuntai, after meeting with the local NGO’s, we hosted larger events in conjunction with various celebrations.
