23 Feb 2020, A yagam /Homa was held by LPDM Kapar, for the benefit of the people, LPDM members and all devotees. Lakshmi Kubera Homam is one of the most powerful homam for wealth and prosperity. It is performed for faster recovery of dues. It is also performed to please the deity of wealth and prosperity and to protect one's family from misery and money related sorrows. As much as 250 LPDM members and devotees participate in yagam that started at 9.30am till 1.30pm, Every devotee given the opportunity to participated in the fire ritual, myNADI and other Kapar NGOs absorb and sponsor some cost of item incur for the yagam. The yagam was held in GOICONDA ESTATE KUIL SRI MAHA MARIAMMAN, Kapar.

Many researches have been conducted about the environmental benefits of homam and yagnam.
